Provinces of China

China has 9,596,961 km² of area and because of that it is considered the third largest country in area in the world ranking and the second largest in Asia. All Chinese territory is broke into 34 administrative divisions which are highest-level of the Chinese administration, and they are called as Provinces. Such divisions are classified as 22 provinces, 4 municipalities, 5 autonomous regions, 2 special Administrative Regions, and the claimed Taiwan Province.
